MEET THE CHEF
LA MAISON DE KAIT
Hi, I’m Kait, and I’m the creative director and company founder. I have been exploring desserts since a young age, and love searching for new challenges. It was only during lockdown, once the world became a smaller place that I began exploring vegan desserts… what a better way to lessen our imprint on the world but at the same time treat ourselves. As a major dessert-lover, the problem was that vegan desserts never hit the spot for me… so I set myself a mission.

Through studies of scientific interactions of food elements and endless hours of experimenting, I started my obsession to make satisfying vegan desserts that ‘don’t taste vegan’.

I love reaching out to people through food. People’s happiness drives my passion. For me, when I think of treats, it’s all about the full beginning to end experience, from the packaging, to the opening, to the look, the taste and texture… if it’s done right, it should brighten your day. And for me, that’s what it’s about, and that’s what I want to achieve.
